Bio

This is my bio…

My name is Jon Pinney–at least that’s what I go by. (My first name is actually Jonathan).

I’m from what used to be a small town (Granite Bay, California) but is now just connected to all of the cities that surround Sacramento.

I currently live in Roseville, California (right next to Granite Bay) where I am a recent home owner (scary, I know).  I love my house.

I come from a large family… 8 kids.  I’m number 6.  That’s where I learned to be in front of an audience and to make sure my opinion is heard.  That’s also where I learned I’m right most of the time… (since then I’ve learned that it’s okay to be wrong, and I’m pretty good at admitting it when I am).

Last year I recorded my very own album, all original music, entitled “When We Started”.  (It’s available on iTunes and at CDBaby or at the Jon Pinney Store link on the left of this page).  I’m a singer and a piano player, and I graduated from BYU with a BM in Media Music, emphasis in Vocal Performance.

I love life.  I love people (most of the time).  I love spending alone time to think and relax.  I also love my friends and love to hang out with people that stimulate me intellectually.
